Carousel of Time – part 1

Life is a one-way ticket to ride the carousel of time.  This carousel of time perpetually spins around, and around, and around.  Its forwarding motion, never decreasing its momentum or reversing direction and yet, as human beings, we often live life in reverse.  Each revolution advances this temporal world closer towards extinction.  Every ticket has the exact expiration date stamped upon it and this date is elusive and only known by the Creator.

Therefore, humankind ought to recognise their journey is neither an audition, run through, where there is no curtain call and each ticket represents a birth of a new-found joy.   The human journey is sporadic from one day to the next, one guarantee is your departure (death) into that boundless existence where time is void.  Life is experienced between our first and last breath, this period introduces us to a variety of theories, theories that attempt to answer life’s biggest question, “what underlies the human existence?”  The practitioners of these theories take every opportunity to teach and discredit the Bible.  Perhaps chaos is the devil’s greatest tool, the commingling philosophical, scientific, and theological philosophies to detract from God’s absolute truth.  Contemporary Christianity has been successfully infiltrated by Satan and his demon children and their efforts wherein creating doubt through his subtle insinuation of “[y]ea, has God said” (Genesis 3:1)?

So, what is life? does it derive out of chaos? Is life a free-for-all with zero consequences or maybe, just maybe, life has a divine blueprint from the Creator.  The Holy Scriptures put forth the question, “[f]or what is your life?” and is unequivocal in its answer, “It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away” (James 4:14).  “Little time” should be expressly interpreted as prudent in an individual’s preparation for their final exam, which follows one’s life coming to fruition.  Disinformation agents plague the narrow path lurking behind every opportunity wherein smooth words tempt souls towards the wide path of destruction.  Beware of the children of the devil as their destructive force travels like a rolling thunder and Christianity’s annihilation is their goal.  Devilish agent provocateurs are ruthless, they occupy positions within denominations, government, academia (secular and religious), as well as family and friends and their tenacity has paid off.  The 21st Century citizen no longer fights against this evil, they accept the propaganda that Christianity is a control instrument and is intolerant of others.

As Christians, defending ourselves against our adversary, the father of lies and his children of evil intent requires faith.  Faith, not just any faith, but biblical faith.  Is there a difference?  Absolutely there is.  What does the Bible have to say on this matter, “[s]o then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17) and it ought to behove every student of the Bible to make sure they have all the words of God.  Christ Jesus says, “the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge…in the last day” (John 12:48).  Since we only have one life to live and whether or not you accept the Bible as your only authority in all matters or dismiss it as fiction, there will come a day then you draw your last breath and then comes judgment.

So, before you breathe your last, recognise that we fight “not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places…take…the whole armour of God, that may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:12-13).  Avoid becoming one of those “[p]rofessing themselves to be wise, (as) they became fools” (Roman 1:22) and find that you have not “[p]ut on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).
