About

Welcome, and thank you in advance for visiting, my name is J. Thomas Bellman.  This blog is my first venture into the arena of writing and with each letter, word, sentence, and paragraph, I am reintroducing myself to the rules of grammar.  I have chosen to underlie my efforts with the words of a childhood favorite, Pele, who said, “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”  I am an obedient New Testament Christian, to which I am passionate, honest, flawed, and in a state of perpetual learning.  I love evangelism. I am an evangelist.  I like writing. I am a writer, though not well.

Predominantly, I am a child of God, I am a husband, dad, son, friend, and researcher.  I have this unyielding desire to spread the Gospel of Christ and to fulfill my potential as an evangelist.  I invested about twenty years trying to prove that God was nothing more than a crutch for the weak-minded to get through life and because of my earnest efforts, I (now gladly) failed. Contemporary churches have spent more time indoctrinating, than teaching the whole counsel of God and while many have relinquished their ability for independent thought, they have become serfs.  I deplore the spiritual bondage that infects those disillusioned, frustrated, disgruntled, and desperate which promotes the gloom and doom of life.

Raised in a non-religious home offered the insight that allowed me to recognize the variables within religious propaganda and the chaos that ensued.  Many professing Christians have chosen to abandon their duty for discovering the truth and replacing it with the smoothness of indoctrination.  This tactic has led the contemporary church leadership to focus on entertaining the congregation and creating lackadaisical spectators.  This trend has Christians conceding personal study of the Scriptures for an unchallenged acceptance of those teachings from their preachers and teachers.  What derived is a latitudinarian movement, which is the driving force behind this apostasy.

When the fog of division disperses, that is when the pathway of truth becomes clear and from that moment on, nothing else matters.  My journey delivered me unto the only truth that matters and that truth answered the purpose of life.  Absolute truth derives from the God Almighty and each article posted on InfectiousTruths.com will have its foundation in the Christian Holy Scriptures, which have been assembled into the Authorized Version of the Bible in the English vernacular (King James Version).

Political correctness has no place in my life.  I speak Bible truth only and if you are easily offended or need a safe place, I can only refer you to take it up with the LORD.  Consider the action of an honest man, whose been shown to be wrong.  He must either admit his error or cease to be an honest man.  What kind of person are you?  “Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance.  The only thing it cannot be is moderately important” (C.S. Lewis), therefore, if it is worth learning, then it is certainly worth teaching.
